Bounties are tasks the makerspace wants done. The current list is displayed on the TVs around the space and in the member portal under Available Volunteer Opportunities on your Home page. To take one, click Claim Task there. See Volunteering at the Makerspace for the steps.
- Repairs and improvements to the space, such as lighting, wiring, painting and drywall
- Organizing and labeling, such as tool storage, fasteners and consumables
- Shop upkeep, such as sharpening and organizing drill bits, repairing hand tools and cleaning machines
- Hauling scrap metal to the scrap yard
- Building and maintaining signs and displays
- Cleaning the laser cutter lens and mirrors. Only do this if you know what you are doing.
